How to reach us

There are a number of ways to get to the University of Rochester. Below are written directions, as well as assorted maps, from common points of origin to Harkness Hall.

• Once in Rochester, how to get to the University of Rochester: (map1) (map2)
• From Airport: Depart the airport via Brooks Street exit. Turn east on to Brooks Street. Travel on Brooks street to Plymouth Ave. Turn Right onto Plymouth Ave. Follow Plymouth Ave to Elmwood Ave. Turn left onto Elmwood Ave. Turn left at the first light and you are at the University of Rochester.
• From the South (I-90): Take I-390 North. Take exit 16. Go straight through light at the end of the off ramp. Bear right (looks like a second off ramp). Go straight through the light at the end of this ramp. You will be on East River Road. At the second light turn right onto Kendrick Road (just after the Nuclear Structures Lab). Stay straight through two lights. Turn left at the third light onto Elmwood. Turn right at first light and you are at the University of Rochester.
• From the North: Take I-390 South to exit 16A. Turn right off the exit. Turn right at the first light onto Kendrick Road (just after the Nuclear Structures lab). Stay straight through two lights. Turn left at the third light onto Elmwood. Turn right at first light and you are at the University of Rochester.

• From Elmwood entrance: As entering the University take the first right onto Trustee Road. At the stop sign turn left onto Intercampus Drive. Take the second left on Intercampus Drive. Harkness Hall is the first building on the right (lot in front).
• From Wilson Blvd: Take a left onto Intercampus Drive. Take the fifth right on Intercampus Drive. Harkness Hall is the first building on the right (lot in front).
