Welcome to the Watson Center for Conflict and Cooperation

The Peter D. Watson Center for Conflict and Cooperation was founded in 1989, with the help of a generous gift from Peter Dekker Watson, to promote research on the causes of international conflict and cooperation. Current and past members of the Center have included faculty and students from Economics, History, Philosophy, Political Science, and Psychology, with interests in a broad range of topics in international security and political economy. The Center encourages a diverse repertoire of theoretical and empirical approaches, including historical accounts, case study analysis, game theoretic modeling, and advanced statistical techniques.

On our site you can find links to current research, center scholars, working papers, and assorted internet resources.
